Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a book of business with group sizes from 2 to 1000 lives.
  • Handle marketing, quoting, and renewals for group accounts.
  • Coordinate and execute large RFPs with carriers.
  • Conduct presentations, enrollments, and claims management.
  • Serve as the primary expert and administrator for Employee Navigator.
  • Collaborate with leadership on developing and implementing strategies for working communities in the Great Lakes region.
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Attend client meetings and travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Life & Health (L&H) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in employee benefits account management.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Employee Navigator (required).
    • Familiarity with Applied Benefit Designer (preferred but not required).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Personable and approachable.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proactive and inquisitive, with the ability to ask the right questions.
  • Work Environment:
    • Remote position with flexibility to attend in-person client meetings.
