Job Title: Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to oversee the day-to-day servicing of a diverse book of business, including self-funded, level-funded, and fully insured accounts. This role requires full-cycle account management and hands-on experience with quoting and renewals. The ideal candidate will be proficient in benefits-related software and possess a strong understanding of group health funding structures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of assigned employee benefits accounts from onboarding through renewal
- Coordinate and execute quoting for new and renewal business
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Utilize tools such as Employee Navigator, BenefitPoint, and Excel to support daily functions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to billing, enrollment, eligibility, and claims
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver timely, accurate service
- Support plan implementation, open enrollment, and employee communication initiatives
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Active Life & Health (L&H) License required
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee benefits account management
- Experience working with self-funded, level-funded, and fully insured plans
- Proficiency with Employee Navigator, BenefitPoint, and Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
