General Liability Claims Adjuster
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and dedicated General Liability Claims Adjuster to join a team. The role involves managing a diverse caseload of claims, primarily litigated, for school districts. Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $96,000 - $127,000 annually

Responsibilities
- Handle a caseload of 100-120 claims, with 80% being litigated cases.
- Manage claims under the Government Tort Claims Act for over 110 school district members across California.
- Investigate and resolve complex claims, including child sexual assault (50% of caseload), bullying, fighting, employment discrimination, and auto accidents.
- Conduct coverage investigations and draft Reservation of Rights (ROR) letters.
- Handle large loss claims and manage litigation processes effectively.
- Collaborate with attorneys and other stakeholders to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years handling a litigated claims desk.
- Proven experience managing complex claims and litigation processes.
- Familiarity with public entity claims and the California Government Claims Act is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently.
- Proficiency in coverage investigations and drafting ROR letters.
