P&C Insurance Specialist (Retention & Growth)

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced P&C Insurance Specialist to join a team. This role focuses on protecting and retaining commercial relationships while identifying cross-sell opportunities across personal, life, and health insurance lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines, particularly in high-risk and surplus accounts, and will thrive in a professional, growth-oriented environment that prioritizes client relationships.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $45,000 – $50,000 annually
  • Commission: 30%–35% commission (~$16,000–$17,000 expected upside)

Responsibilities

  • Manage the renewal lifecycle for a $4.5M premium book of business, focusing on high-risk and surplus commercial accounts
  • Collect and maintain accurate client data to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities in personal, life, and health insurance lines
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with account managers and other team members to support the agency’s growth objectives

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License is required
  • Proven experience in commercial lines insurance, with a focus on high-risk and surplus accounts
  • Strong knowledge of renewal processes and lifecycle management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional and polished environment
