Position Overview
Seeking a motivated and personable Marketing & Sales Representative to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and growing relationships with local insurance brokers and brokerages, introducing them to industry-leading workers’ compensation technology, and converting them into long-term clients. The ideal candidate has a background in insurance—particularly workers’ compensation—and thrives in a client-facing, relationship-driven sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local insurance brokers, agencies, and brokerages.
- Present and promote workers’ compensation technology solutions in a compelling and professional manner.
- Prospect, pitch, and close new clients, helping to expand the company’s presence in the marketplace.
- Build and manage a client database, tracking opportunities and maintaining regular follow-up.
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing product knowledge and tailoring solutions to client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and excellent client experience.
- Meet and exceed sales goals through a combination of new business development and relationship management.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in the insurance industry, ideally with exposure to workers’ compensation.
- Strong sales, business development, or marketing background with proven results.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly personable, polished, and confident in client-facing settings.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable with prospecting and building out a client base.
