Our client is a dynamic and customer-focused insurance carrier, committed to providing exceptional service to policyholders. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster to join their claims team. 

 

As a Personal Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in ensuring policyholders receive prompt and fair resolution of their claims. You will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating personal auto insurance claims, providing a high level of customer service throughout the process.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage, liability, and damages related to personal auto insurance claims.
  • Gather and analyze relevant information, including statements from involved parties, police reports, and photos.
  • Assess and appraise damages to vehicles and property, utilizing industry-standard tools and resources.
  • Estimate repair costs and collaborate with repair facilities to ensure accurate assessments.
  • Interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and liability.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and legal teams to evaluate and address coverage issues.
  • Negotiate fair and equitable settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties.
  • Maintain open and clear communication throughout the negotiation process.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate claim reports, documenting all relevant information and decisions.
  • Utilize claims management systems to ensure proper and up-to-date record-keeping.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience handling Personal Auto/Bodily Injury Claims
  • Strong knowledge of personal auto insurance policies, coverage, and regulations.
  • Experience working for an Insurance Carrier.
  • Must hold an active adjusters license.
  • Proficiency in using claims management software and tools.

 

Salary/Benefits:

  • $70,000 to $100,000
