Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a well-established and family-oriented agency. This role is integral to the team, focusing on client retention, customer service, and managing standard personal lines accounts, including home, auto, and umbrella policies. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 - $64,000 annually (depending on experience) + bonus opportunities & commissions

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with standard personal lines accounts, including home, auto, and umbrella policies.
  • Focus on client retention by providing exceptional customer service.
  • Handle CSR tasks such as adding vehicles, processing endorsements, and assisting walk-in customers.
  • Quote new and renewal business as needed.
  • Utilize PL Rater and agency management software to manage accounts effectively.
  • Work with team members to maintain a positive and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in personal lines insurance (non-captive preferred).
    • Strong preference for candidates with Erie Insurance experience.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with PL Rater and agency management software.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong multitasking abilities.
    • Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently.
    • Commitment to fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
    • Proven tenure in previous roles.
