Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. This position focuses on managing a diverse personal lines book of business, primarily consisting of standard accounts with some exposure to more complex, high-net-worth accounts. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in personal lines account management, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering consistently high levels of client service.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $55,000 - $60,000+ annually, based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage renewal marketing and coordinate with carriers.
  • Handle new business marketing, quoting, and proposal preparation.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, agents, and carriers via email and phone.
  • Complete ACORD applications and follow up on client inquiries.
  • Maintain a focus on 90% renewals and 10% new business.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in personal lines account management.
  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS 360, Newton).
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with carriers such as Hartford, Liberty Mutual, Acuity, Chubb, AmTrust, CNA, and Utica.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, punctuality, and excellent communication abilities.
