Personal Lines Account Manager/Agent
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager/Agent to join a growing insurance agency. This role focuses on delivering high-quality service across a diverse portfolio of personal lines accounts within a stable, supportive, and relationship-driven environment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative setting while managing day-to-day account needs.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 annually, with additional commission opportunities on new policies.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k) plan.
- Work Environment: This is a full-time, in-office position.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service to clients by managing and servicing personal lines accounts.
- Cross-sell mono-line policies to existing clients.
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.
- Handle walk-in customers and address their insurance needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
- Utilize agency management software (Hawksoft) to manage accounts efficiently.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in servicing and selling personal lines insurance products.
- Familiarity with multiple carriers, including Safeco, Travelers, Mercury, and Wholesale Markets.
- Proficiency in using Hawksoft or similar agency management software is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organized, reliable, and a team-oriented mindset.
