Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and insurance carriers, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with the sales team to drive growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients to ensure their insurance needs are met
- Handle inquiries, policy changes, and service requests from clients in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with the sales team to retain and grow the client base
- Work closely with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and place coverage
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on insurance products and coverage options
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
- Utilize CRM system to track client interactions and manage sales pipeline
- Meet and exceed sales and retention targets
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a background in personal lines insurance preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting guidelines
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment
