Job Summary

The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative position is responsible for handling inbound opportunities, servicing personal lines accounts, and closing new and renewal business. This role is well suited for sales-driven professionals who are motivated by commission potential and a consistent flow of warm transfer opportunities. Support from an offshore service team allows the focus to remain on selling, cross-selling, and client engagement rather than administrative tasks.

 

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound warm transfer calls generated through a referral-based system
  • Quote and close new and renewal personal lines business
  • Service existing client accounts, including policy changes and coverage inquiries
  • Cross-sell additional personal lines products and identify upsell opportunities
  • Maintain accurate documentation within internal systems
  • Collaborate with internal and offshore support teams to ensure timely client service
  • Provide professional, responsive communication to clients with a strong sense of urgency

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • 1+ year of sales or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Active Property & Casualty license required
  • Life & Health license strongly preferred
  • Experience working with personal lines insurance products
  • Strong phone presence with the ability to build rapport and close business
  • Motivated by commission-based earnings and performance incentives
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high call volume environment
  • Commercial insurance sales experience is optional and available if desired
