Personal Lines Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Producer to join a team. This role is ideal for a licensed professional with a proven track record in personal lines insurance sales. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and contributing to the growth of the agency. This is a full-time, in-office position with opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a book of business by generating leads through referrals, repeat business, cold calls, and warm leads.
- Sell personal lines insurance products, including home, auto, flood, renters, high-net-worth (HNW) policies, and professional liability coverage.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with account managers to ensure seamless account servicing and retention.
- Meet or exceed monthly production goals, writing approximately $50,000–$70,000 in new business premiums.
- Stay informed about industry trends, products, and regulations to provide clients with the best solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in personal lines insurance sales preferred.
- Proven ability to manage a book of business with a premium size of $750,000 or more.
- Experience working with small to mid-market accounts.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in agency management systems.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
