Personal/Commercial Insurance Account Manager

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal/Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join a well-established, family-owned insurance agency. This is a fully in-office role where you will play a key part in servicing and growing the diverse book of business, which includes both personal and commercial lines. Compensation Package

  • Hourly Rate: $30 - $35 per hour
  • Annual Salary: $62,000 - $73,000

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive servicing for personal and commercial insurance accounts.
  • Handle policy renewals, cross-selling opportunities, and referrals.
  • Assist with quoting new and renewal business, primarily focusing on renewals.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Support the management of a varied book of business, including small accounts and assisting with larger accounts.
  • Utilize HawkSoft agency management software for daily operations.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience:
    • Preferred: 3-5 years of insurance industry experience (open to candidates with less experience if licensed and motivated).
    • Experience with both personal and commercial lines is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with HawkSoft or similar agency management software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.
