Personal Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing a book of business, providing exceptional service to clients, and ensuring the seamless handling of small to mid-market accounts. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, a commitment to integrity, and a passion for learning. This is a hybrid position, offering a balance of in-office and remote work.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 annually, based on experience.
- 401(k): 3-5% employer match.
- Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, long-term disability (LTD), short-term disability (STD), and a Health Savings Account (HSA) with a $5,000 deductible (50% covered by the company).
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Approximately 15 days, plus holidays.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned book of business, focusing on small to mid-market accounts.
- Handle both new and renewal business, including quoting and policy management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with team members in a flexible and supportive environment.
- Utilize Applied Systems software to manage accounts and ensure accuracy in all documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; additional designations are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role within an independent insurance agency.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Systems software is preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong integrity, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
- Work Environment: Hybrid schedule (Monday, Wednesday, Friday in-office; Tuesday and Thursday remote).
