Sales Producer (Transportation/Trucking Insurance Focus)
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Producer with a focus on transportation and trucking insurance. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who thrives in a collaborative, relationship-driven environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, building client relationships, and providing tailored insurance solutions to meet the needs of commercial transportation and trucking clients.
Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and identify potential clients in the transportation and trucking industry.
- Conduct cold calls and schedule meetings with prospective clients.
- Develop and present tailored insurance proposals to meet client needs.
- Negotiate coverage terms and conditions with clients and carriers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide expert advice to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in insurance sales, preferably with a focus on transportation and trucking clients.
- Licensing: Property & Casualty (P&C) License preferred; support for licensing will be provided if needed.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Epic software is preferred.
- Soft Skills: High integrity, adaptability, strong communication skills, self-motivation, and a business-minded approach.
- Travel: Willingness to travel regionally to meet with clients and prospects.
