Job Summary
An established firm is expanding its Property & Casualty practice and is seeking an experienced Broker to join their team. This position will be responsible for prospecting, closing, and managing accounts (across Property, Casualty, Professional Liability, or Transportation lines) while maintaining strong carrier relationships and delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to generate new accounts within the assigned specialty line.
- Manage a pipeline of prospects and existing clients, cultivating strong relationships through proactive outreach and personalized service.
- Travel within the designated region to meet with clients, attend industry events, and identify market opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage solutions.
- Meet or exceed defined sales targets and performance metrics on a regular basis.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, demonstrating self-motivation and entrepreneurial drive.
- Mentor and support inside brokers looking to expand into independent broking roles.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of inside brokerage experience within Property & Casualty lines.
- Proven track record of new business development and achieving sales goals.
- Deep product knowledge in one of the following specialties: Property, Casualty, Professional Liability, or Transportation.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a dynamic market environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned region to engage clients and attend industry functions.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $90K–$150K (based on experience).
