Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a portfolio of middle-market accounts, focusing on renewals, marketing, endorsements, and assisting producers with new business marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $65,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience.
  • 401(k) Plan: Employer matches 17.5% of employee contributions.
  • Comprehensive benefits package available upon request.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business exceeding $2 million, focusing on middle-market accounts.
  • Handle renewals (90%) and new business marketing (10%).
  • Process Certificates of Insurance (COI) and endorsements.
  • Collaborate with producers to market new business opportunities.
  • Utilize the Epic software system for account management.
  • Coordinate with Patra for outsourced administrative tasks.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all client requests and deliverables.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role; experience with Epic software is preferred.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction or generalist accounts is highly desirable.
