Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic and growing team. This role is integral to operations, focusing on managing a diverse portfolio of middle-market accounts and ensuring exceptional client service. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial insurance, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and professional environment. This is a hybrid position, offering a balance of remote and in-office work.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $80,000 - $85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) plan.
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (combination of remote and in-office work).
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of middle-market commercial lines accounts, with account sizes ranging from $400K to $600K in revenue.
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering coverage recommendations.
- Collaborate with producers and other team members to ensure seamless account management.
- Utilize EPIC software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
- Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with the best possible advice and solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; additional designations are a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in commercial lines account management.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in EPIC software is mandatory.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, adaptability, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Must be personable, friendly, and able to build lasting client relationships.
- Knowledge: In-depth understanding of coverage options and the ability to confidently address coverage-related questions.
