Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Assistant Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the account management team to provide exceptional service to commercial insurance clients. This position is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background in insurance who thrives in a remote work environment, values teamwork, and strives to deliver outstanding client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Support Account Managers in servicing clients' commercial insurance accounts, including new business, renewals, and policy changes.
- Prepare and review policy documents, proposals, certificates, and endorsements for accuracy.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and carriers to resolve coverage-related inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform policy reviews and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Assist with marketing activities, such as coordinating submissions and gathering underwriting information.
- Maintain accurate client data in the agency management system and ensure timely updates.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.
- Proactively identify process improvements to support operational efficiency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, carrier requirements, and product offerings.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: 2 years of experience in the commercial insurance field, preferably as an Assistant Account Manager or similar position.
- Licensing: Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agency management systems.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking capabilities to address client and carrier issues effectively.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Passionate about providing superior customer service and maintaining strong client relationships.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $45k-$75k (based on experience).
