Software Support Specialist

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented Software Support Specialist to join a team. This role will focus on the technical setup, configuration, and support of Employee Navigator and related benefits platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, data integration, and troubleshooting, with the ability to deliver a seamless experience for both internal stakeholders and external clients.

The Systems Specialist will be responsible for managing technical onboarding processes, resolving complex system issues, and ensuring accurate configuration of benefits systems. This individual will also provide ongoing client support, document processes, and contribute to the continuous improvement of technical workflows. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Employee Navigator and other benefits administration platforms, including initial setup and ongoing updates.

  • Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for system issues, ensuring timely resolution for clients and internal teams.

  • Manage data integrations, file feeds, and system connections between Employee Navigator and carrier/HRIS platforms.

  • Conduct system testing and quality assurance to verify accurate functionality and data flow.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement technical solutions.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system setups, processes, and troubleshooting steps.

  • Support training initiatives by guiding team members and clients on platform functionality and best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with Employee Navigator or similar benefits administration/onboarding platforms.

  • Strong technical background in system setup, configuration, and support.

  • Familiarity with data integration, file feeds, and database management concepts.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex technical issues.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and colleagues.

  • Experience in the insurance or benefits administration space preferred.
