Job Title: Agricultural Insurance Producer
Job Summary:
The Agricultural Insurance Producer is responsible for developing and servicing agricultural and farm-based clients. This role involves prospecting, building client relationships, providing coverage solutions, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. The primary line of business is Property and Casualty insurance.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prospect and identify potential clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Assess client needs, educate them on insurance options, and recommend tailored coverage solutions.
- Meet or exceed sales goals, including revenue growth, conversion rates, and policy renewals.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with underwriters, claims teams, and service staff to provide a seamless client experience.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to follow agency procedures and compliance standards.
- Proficiency with computer office software.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of insurance experience, with prior farm and agriculture insurance service or sales experience preferred.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Commitment to completing continuing education and training.
