Claims Examiner II - 1st Party Commercial Property

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Claims Examiner II - 1st Party Commercial Property to join a team. This role involves managing both litigated and non-litigated 1st Party Commercial Property claims from inception to resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex claims, including coverage analysis, claim investigation, loss assessment, and settlement.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 50-75 1st Party Commercial Property claims, including warehouses, commercial buildings, retail spaces, growing facilities, farm and ranch buildings, and more.
• Handle claims with coverage up to $1 million, including approximately 50% litigated files.
• Conduct thorough claim investigations, coverage analyses, loss assessments, and settlements.
• Collaborate with legal teams on litigated claims.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
• Provide exceptional service to clients across the United States.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience handling complex 1st Party Commercial Property claims.
• Litigation experience is required.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Licensure in Texas or Florida is preferred; other state licenses will be considered.
• Experience in jurisdictions such as California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, and New York is highly desired.
• Strong carrier experience is highly preferred.
• Stable work history with demonstrated career progression.
• Expertise in claim investigation, coverage analysis, loss assessment, claim reserving, and settlement.
