Workers' Compensation Claims Representative - Southeast (Remote)

Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000 per year (based on qualifications and experience)

Responsibilities
- Determine compensability and/or coverage issues for lost-time workers' compensation claims.
- Effectively manage a caseload of lost-time claims across multiple jurisdictions.
- Negotiate and direct settlements under management's review.
- Gather medical and factual evidence to determine compensability.
- Direct outside investigations and manage litigation files within assigned authority.
- Maintain regular communication with claimants, attorneys, outside investigators, rehabilitation personnel, insureds, account liaisons, and medical providers.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation claims handling.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Adjuster license and confirmation of home state license are mandatory.
- Jurisdictional experience in GA, NC, SC, FL, AL, TN, and LA is required.
- Carrier experience is preferred.
- Experience in handling lost-time or litigated claims.
- Familiarity with medical terminology.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
