Commercial Lines Account Manager or Assistant Account Manager

Location: Media, PA (Onsite)
Compensation: $50K–$90K, commensurate with experience and role

A well-established independent insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager or Assistant Account Manager to join its growing team. This position offers the opportunity to manage and support a diverse generalist commercial book of business while working in a collaborative, supportive office environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide day-to-day servicing of a $3–4M generalist commercial book

  • Handle renewals, policy changes, billing, and claims support

  • Quote and remarket accounts as needed

  • Build strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service

  • Support upsell and cross-sell opportunities, with commissions available for organic business brought in

  • Utilize AMS360 agency management system

What We’re Looking For

  • For Account Manager: Prior Commercial Lines servicing experience and active P&C license

  • For Assistant Account Manager: Insurance office or service experience preferred; P&C license not required, but preferred

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented with a professional, client-focused approach

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $50K–$90K depending on experience and role

  • Benefits: Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance (employee only)

  • PTO: 8 personal/sick days + 10 vacation days, with carryover available

  • Annual compensation review and performance-based bonus on book of business

Work Environment

  • Fully onsite, 5 days per week (must live within 25 minutes of the office)

  • Flexible option to work remotely up to 4 days per month, negotiable
