Commercial Insurance Service Representative - near Roswell, GA

Job Summary: As a Production Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients throughout the insurance policy lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing client inquiries, policy changes, and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. This position involves collaboration with various internal departments to address client needs and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Communication:
- Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
- Provide information on insurance products, coverage options, and policy details.
- Assist clients in understanding policy terms, premium payments, and claims processes.
Policy Administration:
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and in a timely manner.
- Update client information in the system and ensure data accuracy.
- Collaborate with underwriting and claims departments to address client requests and concerns.
Problem Resolution:
- Investigate and resolve client issues, discrepancies, and complaints.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department and follow up on resolutions.
Documentation and Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and organized client records.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with underwriters, claims processors, and other internal teams to meet client needs.
- Provide feedback to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and processes.
- Proficiency in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite & AMS360.
