Commercial Lines Account Manager – Remote
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager with a background in handling large and complex commercial accounts. This is a remote position with an established agency.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and coverages.
- Advise and consult with clients regarding insurance needs and coverage options.
- Manage the workflow of an assigned book of business and delegate tasks as appropriate.
- Maintain accounts in accordance with established guidelines.
- Monitor account activity and ensure timely servicing.
- Contact existing insureds to complement or round out accounts.
- Collaborate strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client business.
- Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines.
- Review policies and coverages for accuracy, including rating calculations.
- Process endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing.
- Prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, carriers, and vendors.
- Manage the marketing process and quote both new and renewal business.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience managing large commercial accounts in an agency or brokerage setting, with Florida market experience preferred.
- Active 2-20 license required.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency with Epic agency management system is required.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: $85K–$95K (depending on experience).
