Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join a team. In this role, you will collaborate with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders to manage commercial insurance accounts efficiently. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and building long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their commercial insurance needs are fully met.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective commercial clients by ensuring a proactive and professional customer service experience.
- Provide expert insurance advice, analyze client needs, and recommend appropriate coverages and solutions.
- Manage the renewal process, including reviewing current policies, negotiating terms with carriers, and presenting renewal options to clients.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, resolving questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Process client documentation, including policy changes, endorsements, and certificates of insurance, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support the sales team with new business opportunities by preparing quotes, presentations, and proposals.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and market trends to provide clients with timely and relevant advice.
- Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities to enhance client portfolios.
- Maintain accurate records in the client management system and adhere to company best practices.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance account management, customer service, or a related role.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policy rating, and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with a diverse client base.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with agency management software (e.g., AMS360, Applied, or similar systems) is a plus.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $60K-$90K+ (based on experience).
