Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and providing timely and accurate information.
- Review and analyze insurance policies, identifying coverage gaps and presenting recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage options on behalf of clients.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in insurance regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance account management or a related role.
- 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience.
- Previous independent agency experience is required.
- A proven track record of consistent job tenure in previous roles is required.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite.
