Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, and providing timely and accurate information.
• Review and analyze insurance policies, identifying coverage gaps and presenting recommendations to clients.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, pricing, and coverage options on behalf of clients.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in insurance regulations to provide informed advice to clients.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience in commercial insurance account management or a related role.
• 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience.
• Previous independent agency experience is required.
• A proven track record of consistent job tenure in previous roles is required.
• Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite.
