Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service, and overseeing the administration of personal insurance policies.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing proactive and personalized service
- Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements while ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve any issues or concerns
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and insurance products to effectively advise clients
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities
- Handle inquiries and concerns from clients in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records and policy information
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous independent agency experience is highly preferred
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license - required
- Proven experience in personal lines insurance, with a focus on account management
- Strong understanding of insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in utilizing insurance agency management software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service to clients
