Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to operations, focusing on the comprehensive servicing of a generalist book of business. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial insurance, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to client management.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a generalist book of business, including small to middle-market accounts, with occasional large accounts.
  • Provide end-to-end servicing of accounts, including General Liability, Workers' Compensation, and other commercial lines.
  • Quote new and renewal business as required.
  • Utilize agency management software (EPIC) for account management and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their needs and resolving issues promptly.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial insurance, with a proven ability to manage a book of business valued at $3 million or more.
  • Proficiency in agency management software (EPIC preferred, but training can be provided).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Energetic, goal-oriented, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
