Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to the operations, focusing on renewals and retention of the commercial lines accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in small business insurance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position, with the option to work remotely for the first three months before relocating.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $80,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Relocation Package: $5,000 for candidates relocating to Duluth, GA after the initial remote period

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with a focus on small business accounts, including BOPs, workers' compensation, restaurants, beauty wholesalers, professional services, dental offices, and more
  • Handle renewals and retention of accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term relationships
  • Quote new and renewal business as required
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with producers and other account managers to support the commercial lines team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the agency management system (HawkSoft)

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: 1-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management, preferably with small business accounts
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HawkSoft or similar agency management software preferred
  • Language Skills: Korean language proficiency is highly desirable
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; customer-focused mindset; adaptability and a proactive approach to challenges
