Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and professional Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is pivotal in managing a commercial book of business, ensuring high client retention and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and fostering strong relationships. This is a hybrid position, offering a balance of in-office and remote work.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid (initially 3 days in-office, with potential for reduced in-office days over time)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of small to mid-sized commercial accounts, ensuring high retention and client satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing coverage questions, policy changes, and billing inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate client files and service timelines in EPIC, processing endorsements, audits, and premium finance agreements in a timely manner.
  • Handle certificate requests and contract reviews with precision and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless account administration.
  • Investigate and resolve coverage issues promptly, providing professional solutions to meet client needs.
  • Prioritize renewals and daily transactions while providing backup support to team members.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, legislation, and new products, and maintain an active P&C license through continuing education.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in commercial account management.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with EPIC software preferred.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Oil & Gas accounts is a significant asset.
