Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to the operations, managing a book of business and ensuring the seamless handling of renewals, endorsements, and account rounding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent organizational skills, and a proactive approach to client service. This is a full-time, in-office position.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually
- Bonus Program: Monthly bonuses based on retention and growth

Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business, focusing on small business accounts with premiums ranging from $0 to $100,000 (primarily under $50,000).
- Handle the renewal process from start to finish, including quoting and shopping for competitive rates.
- Process endorsements and assist in rounding out accounts to ensure comprehensive coverage for clients.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
- Utilize HawkSoft and Microsoft Office Suite for daily tasks and account management.
- Collaborate with the commercial lines team to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an independent agency setting, with preference given to candidates with 5+ years of account management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and HawkSoft software.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance, particularly generalist accounts and contractor policies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
