Commercial Lines Account Manager

We are seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager with experience in Commercial Real Estate, Hospitality, Manufacturing, and Non-Profits.

Purpose: To retain clients by effectively managing relationships both internally and externally. Collaborate with department members to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction

Education, Experience, and Knowledge Required:

  • Property and Casualty Insurance license in good standing
  • Knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations
  • Proficient in AMS 360 is preferred. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
  • 5+ years of experience in the retail insurance industry

 


 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Account Management:

    • Oversee day-to-day activities for an assigned book of business, including invoicing, claims reporting, premium breakdowns, policy changes, and coverage comparisons.
  2. Administrative Oversight:

    • Handle issuance of certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, and processing policies/endorsements.
  3. Relationship Building:

    • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, and carriers to enhance client retention.
  4. Coverage Consultation:

    • Identify coverage gaps and consult with leadership to advise clients on options.
  5. Renewal Process Support:

    • Assist producers in managing the renewal process, including ordering loss information, handling applications, and preparing renewal proposals.
  6. Compliance Review:

    • Ensure alignment with client expectations and legal requirements through thorough documentation of internal compliance and client disclosures.
  7. Business Growth:

    • Support growth through account rounding and referrals.
  8. Team Support:

    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams as needed.
  9. Meeting Participation:

    • Attend internal and client meetings as required.
  10. Adherence to Guidelines:

    • Follow agency policies and promote teamwork and a positive work environment.
  11. Performance Commitment:

Education, Experience, and Knowledge Required:

  • Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license in good standing.
  • Knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
  • Familiarity with office equipment (printers, copiers, etc.).
  • 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry or a related field.

Preferred:

  • College degree in a business-related field.
