Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, build strong client relationships, and ensure optimal customer service. This role requires a proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding client experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, ensuring all needs are met promptly and professionally.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing policy support.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurance carriers, and internal stakeholders to ensure business retention and growth.
  • Assist clients in understanding and selecting appropriate commercial insurance products and services.
  • Prepare, review, and deliver insurance proposals, binders, and endorsements to clients.
  • Proactively monitor policy renewals and ensure timely completion of renewal processes.
  • Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate policy terms and conditions in alignment with client needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of correspondence, transactions, and policy details in the company’s database.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulations, and policy changes to provide informed recommendations to clients.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with various departments to identify opportunities for enhanced client service and streamlined processes.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager in the commercial insurance industry or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and policies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen ability to build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to analyze client needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
  • Proficiency in insurance management systems and tools; experience with CRM platforms is a plus.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
