Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring a high standard of client satisfaction and retention.
- Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored recommendations.
- Ensure timely handling of renewals, endorsements, and policy changes while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that client expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, underwriters, and claims representatives, to maintain seamless communication and workflows.
- Analyze client coverage needs, identify gaps, and suggest additional products where applicable.
- Review and verify policy documentation for accuracy, and process necessary updates with carriers.
- Stay informed of industry trends, policy changes, and product developments to provide clients with informed advice and options.
- Attend training, networking events, or community outreach initiatives to promote the organization and enhance personal development.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in commercial account management or a related role.
- Licensing: Active Property and Casualty Insurance license
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using insurance management systems, CRM software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to provide creative solutions for clients.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
