Job description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, addressing their inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate and secure the best coverage and premiums for clients.
  • Analyze policy options, provide recommendations, and present insurance proposals to clients.
  • Monitor policy renewals, process endorsements, and handle claims to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to facilitate the resolution of any insurance-related issues.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance or account management within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance coverages, policy language, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • A valid insurance license is preferred.

Day-to-day

  • Communicating with clients to gather information about their insurance needs and provide updates on their policies.
  • Collaborating with insurance carriers to obtain quotes and review policy options.
  • Preparing and presenting insurance proposals to clients.
  • Coordinating policy renewals, endorsements, and claims processing.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation in the agency management system.
  • Staying informed about industry trends, new products, and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.
