Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing prompt and professional service
- Review and analyze clients' insurance needs and provide suitable coverage recommendations
- Negotiate with carriers for competitive pricing and coverage options
- Process new business, renewals, endorsements, and other policy changes accurately and efficiently
- Keep clients informed about industry trends, coverage enhancements, and regulatory changes
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify cross-selling and account rounding opportunities
- Assist with claims advocacy and resolution when necessary
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and underwriting guidelines
Qualifications/Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance
- Proven track record of account management and client retention
- Knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting principles
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
