Job Summary
Seeking a proactive and customer-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to a portfolio of commercial clients, handling their insurance needs with professionalism and efficiency. You will manage accounts, identify opportunities to enhance coverage, and work collaboratively with clients, insurers, and internal teams to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all matters related to their commercial insurance policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term partnerships and trust.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in policy renewals, endorsements, billing inquiries, and claims.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on coverage options, policy changes, and risk management strategies.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to secure competitive and tailored insurance solutions for clients.
- Actively identify opportunities for cross-selling and assist with new business acquisition.
- Analyze data related to client accounts, recommend improvements, and implement client-specific strategies.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date, including application submissions, proposal preparation, and policy reviews.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings to provide knowledgeable recommendations.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Commercial Lines Account Manager role or a similar position in the insurance industry.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple accounts with exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively and think critically under pressure.
