Commercial Lines Account Manager - Cargo
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager with Cargo & Trucking experience.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $50,000 to $75,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Assist prospects and customers in obtaining quotes for cargo and cargo-related liability insurance.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and carriers.
- Issue policies, endorsements, and renewal documents.
- Provide support to the sales team and clients, including proposals, special quotes, binders, and certificates of insurance.
- Verify insurance company billings and resolve discrepancies as needed.
- Coordinate the renewal process for assigned cargo and liability policies.
- Handle new business production and manage existing accounts.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Licensing: P&C Producer License.
- Experience: Previous Cargo/Trucking experience is required.
- Skills:
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain products accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Above-average math skills for working with numbers and percentages.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and orderly documentation.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in standard office programs and a strong aptitude for learning proprietary software.
