Commercial Lines Account Manager - Cargo

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager with Cargo & Trucking experience.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $50,000 to $75,000 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Assist prospects and customers in obtaining quotes for cargo and cargo-related liability insurance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and carriers.
  • Issue policies, endorsements, and renewal documents.
  • Provide support to the sales team and clients, including proposals, special quotes, binders, and certificates of insurance.
  • Verify insurance company billings and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Coordinate the renewal process for assigned cargo and liability policies.
  • Handle new business production and manage existing accounts.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Licensing: P&C Producer License.
  • Experience: Previous Cargo/Trucking experience is required.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain products accurately.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Above-average math skills for working with numbers and percentages.
    • Proficiency in written and oral communication, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
    • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate and orderly documentation.
    • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in standard office programs and a strong aptitude for learning proprietary software.
