Commercial Lines Associate Account Executive

 

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (based on experience)

Position Summary
A Commercial Lines Associate Account Executive is needed to support account management and servicing responsibilities. This role requires independent judgment and discretion, contributing to the department’s success in Commercial Lines. Candidates must hold an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Account Executive in maintaining strong retention of an existing book of business
  • Review policies and endorsements, request changes from carriers as needed
  • Act as the first point of contact to resolve client billing issues and respond to coverage inquiries
  • Manage invoicing, endorsements, and maintain accurate system records
  • Prepare specifications and applications for marketing renewals and new business
  • Track open client items to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met
  • Identify exposures to loss and recommend appropriate coverage in collaboration with the Account Executive
  • Order and issue binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, audits, and related documents
  • Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and supplemental applications
  • Participate in renewal strategy, marketing, and carrier negotiations
  • Coordinate with Account Executive and team on billing and financing
  • Attend client and prospect meetings as needed, and assist with proposals
  • Develop and maintain strong carrier and market relationships
  • Provide mentoring and training support to junior team members as applicable

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of experience, or 5+ years of insurance experience preferred
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and agency management software
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team
