Commercial Lines Technical Assistant

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Commercial Lines Technical Assistant to join a team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing team and support a mission of delivering exceptional service to clients. The position is onsite and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
  • Benefits: Full benefits package, including a 401(k) plan

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Commercial Lines team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Issuing standard certificates using approved agency templates and verifying certificate holder accuracy.
  • Handling custom certificate wording and rush certificate requests.
  • Auditing certificates for compliance and accuracy; resolving holder or carrier discrepancies.
  • Accurately entering and updating policy data in AMS360.
  • Processing endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits, and other servicing transactions.
  • Reviewing complex endorsements for coverage accuracy and form integrity.
  • Supporting Account Managers during renewal cycles, including pulling loss runs and assisting with exposure analysis.
  • Assisting with the preparation of quote summary templates when requested.
  • Completing assigned processing tasks within designated turnaround times.
  • Maintaining documentation and filing standards in accordance with agency procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Licenses/Designations: Active 2-20 or 4-40 license is required.
  • Experience: 2-3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is required.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in insurance is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
