Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and building strong relationships with potential clients in the commercial insurance market.
  • Assess client needs to provide recommendations and custom insurance solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Maintain and service existing accounts, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction through regular communication and prompt issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and customer support, to provide innovative and comprehensive coverage options.
  • Monitor market trends, industry regulations, and changes in insurance products to keep clients informed and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotes to clients in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Achieve or surpass individual and team sales targets within established deadlines.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Insurance Producer, Commercial Producer, or in a similar client-facing sales role within the insurance sector.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk assessment principles.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools and technology.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Willingness to participate in professional development and ongoing education to stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in the insurance industry.
