Customer Service Representative/Inside Salesperson

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative (CSR)/Inside Salesperson to join a team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a passion for providing exceptional customer service and sales support. The ideal candidate will have experience in the independent agency environment, with a preference for bilingual candidates and those holding a Property & Casualty (P&C) license.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Benefits: While full-time benefits are not offered, we provide compensation through Medishare. The total cost of benefits will be added to the base salary.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility for remote work on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with inside sales activities, including generating leads, following up with potential clients, and closing sales.
  • Support the agency's operations by managing client accounts and maintaining accurate records in the agency management system (Hawksoft AMS or similar).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the agency.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is highly preferred but not mandatory.
  • Property & Casualty (P&C) license is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
  • Prior experience in an independent insurance agency is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with agency management systems (Hawksoft AMS experience is a plus, but not required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in an onsite environment.
  • Commitment to a full-time, onsite schedule with flexibility for remote work on Wednesdays.
