Director, Product Management
Job Summary
Seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Product Management to lead and drive the strategic direction of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Commercial and Agribusiness product lines. This role is pivotal in shaping the product roadmap, ensuring profitability, and fostering collaboration across multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise in P&C insurance, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $94,300 - $193,700 (depending on experience)

Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Define and prioritize the product roadmap, reviewing all product lines annually to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Team Management: Lead a team of 5+ direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with distribution leadership, exclusive agents across 45 states, and regulatory teams to gather feedback and ensure compliance with state Department of Insurance (DOI) requirements.
- Profitability Analysis: Measure product profitability, leveraging actuarial insights for pricing decisions and ensuring alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) such as buying ratio, new business growth, and direct written premium.
- Regulatory Oversight: Collaborate with teams managing regulatory filings, including rate, rule, and form submissions.
- Market Strategy: Partner with distribution leadership to develop and execute go-to-market strategies.
- First-Year Focus:
- Develop a deep understanding of the organization and its collaborative processes.
- Build a roadmap of initiatives to advance product offerings.
- Establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in Property & Casualty insurance, with a focus on Commercial and Agribusiness lines.
- At least 3-5 years of leadership experience managing teams and driving strategic initiatives.
- Industry Preference: Candidates with prior insurance carrier experience are strongly preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Education: Relevant educational background in business, insurance, or a related field.
