Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service support for group benefits and voluntary benefits accounts, with a focus on fully funded medical accounts with fewer than 100 lives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee benefits, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 annually
- Benefits Offered: Comprehensive benefits package
- 401(k): Available
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model available after 90 days (initially 5 days in-office)
- Travel: Minimal travel required
Responsibilities
- Provide service support for group benefits and voluntary benefits accounts.
- Assist with the renewal process for existing accounts.
- Utilize BenefitPoint software to manage client accounts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client service and meet client needs.
- Conduct regular communication with clients to address inquiries, resolve issues, and provide updates.
- Support the quoting process for new and renewal business.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Life and Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in service support for group benefits or voluntary benefits.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in BenefitPoint software preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
