Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and professional Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a family-oriented environment with a well-established, privately run agency that has multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of employee benefits, excellent interpersonal skills, and a team-focused attitude. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $50,000 annually
  • 401(k): Employer match available

Responsibilities

  • Service small to mid-sized accounts with group sizes of 100 or fewer employees
  • Handle account renewals, including quoting and policy changes
  • Manage enrollment processes and provide advisement on employee benefit plans
  • Utilize software tools such as Epic, Employee Navigator, and Zywave to manage accounts effectively
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure client satisfaction and seamless service delivery

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Life and Health (L&H) license required
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in employee benefits or a related field preferred; candidates with basic benefits knowledge and entry-level experience will also be considered
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Epic, Employee Navigator, and Zywave software is a plus
