Employee Benefits Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a dynamic and team-oriented organization. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 (depending on experience)
  • Competitive benefits package, 401(k), paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers through phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Assist clients with service questions related to administration, billing, claims, and problem-solving.
  • Identify cross-sell opportunities and recommend new lines of coverage.
  • Collaborate with Producers and Marketing Account Executives to manage the renewal process and present options to clients.
  • Lead the marketing of accounts, prepare marketing materials, and present options to clients.
  • Oversee the implementation process, including preparing and delivering necessary forms to clients.
  • Conduct relationship management meetings and visits with assigned clients.
  • Utilize client management systems to update policies, log activities, and manage follow-ups.
  • Stay informed on new products and legislative changes by attending seminars, classes, and carrier meetings.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Life & Health (L&H) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits account management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Benefit Point and ImageRight software.
  • Account Expertise: Experience working with accounts of 200-500+ lives, including medical, dental, vision, and ancillary coverages.
  • Soft Skills: Team player, motivated, receptive to feedback, and strong interpersonal skills.
