Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and driven Employee Benefits Producer to join a growing team.

Compensation Package

  • $50K-$80K (depending on experience) + commissions

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of employee benefits accounts of all sizes.
  • Sell major medical, ancillary lines, and disability insurance.
  • Build and nurture client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners and leverage carrier relationships to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Actively prospect and generate new business opportunities within the tristate region.
  • Attend client meetings, industry events, and internal team meetings as required.
  • Provide consultative support to clients, including potential HR-related services.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Life and Health (L&H) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of prior benefits sales experience within a broker setting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
    • Trustworthy and dependable.
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software tools is a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the tristate region as needed.
