Underwriting Support Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Underwriting Support Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of the underwriting support team.
Compensation:
- $90,000 - $100,000/year

Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in underwriting support, operations, or related functions within the insurance industry.
- 2+ years of leadership or managerial experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Commercial Auto insurance; exposure to other Commercial P&C lines is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in insurance systems, workflow tools, and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and team-building abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the underwriting support staff to achieve departmental goals and service standards.
- Oversee workflow management, ensuring timely and accurate processing of submissions, renewals, endorsements, and policy documentation.
- Partner with Underwriters and leadership to enhance operational efficiency and support profitable growth.
- Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify process improvements and leverage technology to streamline operations.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex underwriting support issues.
- Collaborate across departments to align underwriting support functions with corporate objectives.
